Private Driving

The private driving is carriages with two or four wheels and a single horse to pull it. There is a mixture of horses and ponies, hackeys and non-hackneys because there were two classes I photgraphed.

^^^^The man with the horse on the left won the hackney horse class. I didn't photograph the horse in action because it would not be an accurate representation. The horse looked like he was floating, his strides were so long and high. WOW!

^^^^This woman takes her pony and trap out on the roads in her village and she attracts some attention, surprisingly. The pony was only about 12 hands and really cute. He could have done really well in the class, but at some point in the individual show he kicked back at the carriage and lost marks (see photo above). Bless him.

^^^^This pony has a really gorgeous mane, but you can't see it too well on this photo.

^^^^ The mane on this black pony is more visible on this photo, compared to above.
